About The Family Montessori

Welcome to The Family Montessori of Bryan/College Station!

 

We are excited to be a part of this wonderful community and opening up a Montessori school here is a dream come true! We welcome all of our new friends to come visit our school, meet us in person, and explore our classrooms. Our team is dedicated to making your journey through The Family Montessori enjoyable, educational, and full of love.

I have been in and around the childcare industry ever since my mother opened her daycare in Austin in 1998. Since then, I have had the privilege of obtaining my BS in Communications, marrying my college sweetheart, owning a previous home daycare, and now having two wonderful, young children. I was lucky to be introduced to world of Montessori many years ago by BCS' very own Ms. Lydia (now retired; former owner of the Montessori Schoolhouse for over 25 years).

Inspired by the Montessori philosophy, I obtained my AMS certification and never looked back. The philosophy really teaches us (as teachers) the psychology of children, the amazing capabilities they have, and how we can help them to flourish to their fullest potential. I am so thrilled to get the opportunity to meet the children of Bryan/College station. I can't wait to teach and help develop these wonderful individuals to have inquisitive minds and create a love for learning.
